Variegated Simpo Albo Alocasia | Corm ONLY
A dormant piece of botanical alchemy. This listing is for a corm ONLY harvested directly from our highly variegated Alocasia Simpo Albo mother plant (pictured).
The mother specimen is a masterpiece of high-contrast genetics, consistently throwing striking half-moon leaves and intricate, ghostly white mottling against deep forest greens. While the expression of variegation from a corm is never a guaranteed science—nature always has her own agenda—these carry the exact genetic blueprint of a truly exceptional plant.
This is an investment in potential. It requires patience, warmth, and a watchful eye to wake it from its slumber.
✨Cultivation & Care✨
✨Light:Keep the propagation setup in a warm, well-lit area. Once sprouted, provide bright, indirect light to encourage the variegation to express itself fully without scorching the delicate white tissue.
✨Atmosphere: High humidity (70%+) and consistent warmth are non-negotiable to wake this corm. A propagation box, humidity dome, or enclosed terrarium environment is highly recommended.
✨Substrate & Rooting: We exclusively use and recommend the "puddle method" to wake our corms. Place the corm right-side up in a shallow vessel with just enough water to cover the bottom third to half of the corm—do not submerge it entirely. Keep it enclosed to trap humidity and top off the water as it evaporates.
Bio-Control & Acclimation
These corms are harvested clean, rigorously inspected, and ready for your propagation setup. Place them in their puddle in a stable, warm environment and resist the urge to constantly disturb them while they root. Patience is the ultimate tool here.
